Abstract

Changsha Battle which lasted from September 1939 to the beginning of 1942,is of three significant campaigns that Kuomingtang had in the War of Resistance against Japan. These three campaigns,especially the third one,have struck heavy blows at the arrogance of Japanese imperialism,encouraged Chinese confidence of winning the victory of the war of Resistance against Japan,promoted the position and influence of China in the alliance of anti-Fascist in the world and written a brilliant page in Chinese history of the War of Resistance against Japan.
