Abstract
[Objective] To understand the status of knowledge and attitude about HIV /AIDS and provide the basis to improve the effective means of HIV / AIDS education. [Methods] We conducted a cross-sectional survey using a self-administered questionnaire among 1 314 medical graduate students. [Results] 99.1% students knew that more sexual partners could increase the risk of infecting HIV; the accuracy rate was visibly low in the items of Exercise cannot reduce risk of HIV transmission (48.9%) and HIV transmission from male to female is more possible than female to male (45.9%) . Most students thought HIV-positive people should open the identity. There were not related between knowledge and attitude about HIV / AIDS. [Conclusion] This study indicates HIV / AIDS-related knowledge and attitude are good. But there are also items in which the correct response is low. The HIV / AIDS education among medical graduate students is also needed, especially to students from rural area.
