The antibodies levels of measles,mumps and rubella in residents,Tianjin

Objective To understand the levels of antibodies against measles,mumps and rubella in healthy population,and to evaluate the further demand of immunization.Methods Six hundred and eight serum samples were collected from the residents of Tianjin aged 0-57 years old and were tested for IgG antibodies of measles,mumps and rubella with ELISA quantitative methods.Results The vaccination rate of measles,mumps and rubella were 70.39%,16.78% and 12.34% respectively;the antibodies positive rate of measles,mumps and rubella were 91.78%,65.79% and 73.52%;the geometric mean concentration(GMC) were 2 488.10 IU/L,200.4 IU/ml,759.91 U/ml.Conclusion The vaccination rates and positive rates of mumps and rubella were low.It would be helpful to add MMR into EPI in the disease control for rubella and mumps.
