Abstract

This synthesis study is intended to inform airport pavement engineers and airport maintenance managers and personnel about how airports implement a pavement maintenance management program, including inspection and tracking pavement condition, scheduling maintenance, identifying necessary funds, and treating distresses in asphalt and concrete pavements. Information used in this study was acquired through a review of the literature and interviews with airport operators and industry experts.
