Abstract
Sixty three strains of bacteria were isolated from the milk of dairy cows with mastitis or subclinical mastitis in Beijing area Results showed that 15 strains among them were staphylococci (23 81%), 25 were streptococci (39 69%), 16 were bacilli (25 39%) and 7 were others (11 11%) Mice and sheep blood test demonstrated that 26 strains of them were proved pathogenic Drug sensitivity test showed that all pathogenic bacteria were resistant to penicillin and streptomycin frequently used, while Quinolones had a fairly good inhibiting effect on the pathogenic bacteria
