Abstract
Fatty acid binding proteins(FABPs)belong to a super family of lipid-binding proteins and are important regulatory factors involved in lipid metabolism. This review summarized the research about some genes in this family associated with lipid accumulation of poultry, including heart fatty acid binding protein, adipocyte fatty acid binding protein, extracellular fatty acid binding protein, liver fatty acid binding protein and intestinal fatty acid binding protein.
