Abstract

Objective To investigate the genetic distibution of extended-spectrum β-lactamases- (ESBLs ) producing Klebsiella pneumoniae in Shenyang City. Methods The genotypes of TEM, SHV, CTX -M -1 ESBLs gene of ESBL -producing Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from inpatients in the Fisrt and Second Affiliated Clinical Hgospital of China Medical University were amplified by using PCR and the DNA fragments were recovered after electrophoresis with 1% aglucose gel. Then seqquence analysis was conducted for investigating the distribution of drug resistant genetic strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae. Results The positive rates of genotypes of TEM, SHV, CTX -M -1 ESBLs gene were 58.0% , 90.3%, 16.1%, respectively. Conclusion There are several drug resistant genotypes in the isolated ESBLs- producing Klebsiella pneumoniae.
