Abstract

[Objective] To understand the knowledge,attitude and practice about HIV Voluntary Counseling and Test(VCT) among street-based female sex workers(FSWs) in Chongqing and enhance them to do VCT actively.[Methods] By cluster-random sampling procedure,212 street-based female sex workers in main district were anonymously surveyed with questionnaires.[Results] The status of HIV VCT adoption was serious,more than 70% of the cases didn't understand VCT,and only 9.4% of them did consultant,and 9.0% of them did the test among street-based female sex workers.[Conclusion] The awareness rate of VCT was very low,it is urgent to strengthen the propaganda,and improve the knowledge of VCT in FSW.
