Hybrid “Xiajieqiu 1” of Chinese cabbage was obtained from the crossing between 90 1 1 2 3 94 3 and 90 1 5 1 2 94 6, two weak compatible lines. The main characters of the hybrid are compact, closed heading, high net yield and resistance to diseases. The average yield is 73 963.5?kg/hm 2 under normal conditions.
