Abstract
Using hypothalamus as material and gt10 as vector, chicken hypothala mus cDNA library has been constructed. The results showed that the titration o f the cDNA library we constructed was 3.8×106, and the fragment length of ins erted DNA ranged mainly from 1.0~3.0kb. The ESTs was sequenced and primarily analyzed for ten clones randomly selected from above library. After analysis w ith BLASTn and FASTA3.1, it was found that four ESTs developed matched homolog ous sequence in chicken, four also had similar sequences in human and other sp ecies, have other two sequences were function-unknown gene. The sequences of t en ESTs we studied have been loaded into GenBank.
