本稿では，筆者が担当した授業科目「日本語表現実践」の受講学生を対象に，敬語能力を培うことを目的として行った場面ごとの敬語使用例の説明や，ロールプレイング実践授業の効果を，主観的尺度である事後アンケート調査と，客観的尺度である事後テストより実証した．授業を実施する前に，事前データとして敬語に関するアンケートとテストを実施し，実践授業の設計，構築に役立てた．
