Abstract
The Japanese honorific is always the difficult point for Chinese learners. This thesis tries to analyze and compare the different honorific systems with respective characteristics in Chinese and Japanese from the following three aspects; concepts of honorific, construction of honorific system and consciousness of application of honorific. Therefore, the teaching of Japanese language and the employment of graduates can benefit from it.
