Abstract
In this final chapter we raise some questions for you to address regarding your practice as a researcher of and/or as a professional within educational services. The researchers who have reported their projects and analysis in this textbook have provided you with access to critical ways of thinking about, within and for professional practice and research. In doing so, and as a reminder from the Introduction, we have located our approach in Smyth's (1989) critical scholarship: to take the context seriously, to address issues of power, and to work for empowerment. We realize that this is important but also challenging, and so we therefore present this textbook as a case study for critical educational leadership studies, where we focus on how you have read and engaged with the projects and analysis as a form of intellectual practice.
