The Analysis of Moral Values of John Lee Huncock’s Movie Entitled “The Blind Side

Every movie has message conveyed toward the audience. The director covers it in a unique style, through the conversation and the actions of the characters. Moral values are parts of the messages of a movie. There are many literary works which rise psychological aspect such as The Blind Side movie. The Blind Bide is one film that illustrates from zero to hero experience of the character. The purposes of this research are divided into two parts. The first purpose of this research is to analyze the moralvalues in the movie.The second purpose is to know the implications of this movie in education. To analyze those, the writer used qualitative research design based on the Linda Eyre theory. The writer also used the script of the movie and some related books as the sources of the data. The aim of this research is to analysis the moral value in the Blind Side movie. The writer watched the movie and read the script many times to collect the data. The theme of movie entitled “The Blind Side” is about motivation. The plot of this movie is about a struggling child from his broken home parents become a famous baseball player. From the analysis, the writer finds the moral values of the movie likes fair and humane, bravely, confidence and potention, self-discipline and moderation, loyalty and trustworthy, respect, love and affection, sensitive and not selfish, kind and friendly. The writer hope the result of the research will give additional information, contributions and stimulates the students or readers in studying the literature.
