Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare the returns over variable costs of corn, wheat and soybeans in southeastern Nebraska, the major crops in the area.By gathering usable information from the farmers, analyzing this information and developing coefficients for partial budgeting, it should be possible to consider existing organizational alternatives and, therefore, determine which of these organizations would provide the highest return over variable cost under the given conditions of size of operation, yield change, and program participation.
