Abstract
Natural phenomenon simulation can intuitively and effectively reproduce the natural phenomena that may appear in the real world. For example, rain, snow, fog, lightning, it plays an important role in the construction of a virtual environment. Aiming at the problems of the reality and real-time nature of the current natural phenomenon simulation, this article has carried out the simulation of natural phenomenon based on UE4. Through UE4's particle system, material system, UMG editor, etc. A system that can switch natural phenomena in real time according to user needs has been created. Experimental results show that the system can effectively and realistically simulate natural phenomena in the real world.
