Abstract
This article is a study of emotional regulation and emotional intelligence in the organization context. The critical dimensions of both the constructs are discussed in the article. The possibilities of integration of emotional regulation and emotional intelligence are explored, and a novel construct, emotional regulation flexibility is elucidated in this regards. The impact of emotional regulation in the performance of groups at the workplace is examined. The effect of emotional intelligence on the performance of individuals and groups is elaborated. The articles that tested these constructs in relation to work performance are listed. Emotions in groups at workplace and emotional regulation strategies are represented comprehensively with the help of figures.
