Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between prenatal IgG anti-A (B) antibody titer and neonatal hemolytic disease (HDN) in pregnant women with type O blood. Methods The clinical data of 984 couples with blood type incompatibility were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Among them, 621 pregnant women were tested for anti-A (B) antibody titer, and the IgG anti A (B) antibody titer abnormality was treated by drug treatment; 363 cases of type O blood pregnant women did not receive IgG anti A (B) antibody titer detection. The correlation between prenatal IgG antibody titer and the incidence of HDN was analyzed. Results The incidence of HDN was positively correlated with the antibody titer, and the incidence of HDN was significantly increased with the increase of antibody titer (χ2=18.07, P=0.000). The incidence of HDN group pregnant women was 3.54%(22/621), which was lower than 9.37% (34/363) in control group (χ2=12.51, P=0.002). Conclusions The incidence of HDN is positively correlated with the titer of anti-A (B) antibody. Active therapy can reduce the incidence of HDN.
