Comparative analysis on levels of lipids and uric acid in diabetic and healthy

Objective To compare the levels of lipids and uric acid in diabetic and healthy subjects.Methods 300 cases of diabetes in our hospital were selected as observation group,and 300 cases of healthy subjects in the same period were selected as control group.Serum lipids and uric acid indexes of two groups were analyzed by Hitachi 7600 automatic biochemical analyzer.The levels of serum uric acid,total cholesterol and triglyceride of two groups were compared.Results The serum uric acid level of observation group was higher than that of control group,without statistically significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).The incidences of high cholesterol and high triglyceride in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Diabetic patients often accompanies with abnormal lipids metabolism,whose incidences of high cholesterol and high triglyceride are significantly higher than those of healthy people.Good control of both blood glucose and lipids has important clinical significance.
