Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical application value of fusion technology of three-dimensional intracranial digital subtraction angiography(DSA) and CT or MRI in the treatment of intracranial arteriovenous malformations. Methods From July 2013 to July 2015, 28 patients with intracranial arteriovenous malformations(AVM) were randomly selected, all patients were confirmed by DSA diagnosis and were treated with MRI or CT scan, and the implementation of three-dimensional DSA and CT or MRI fusion diagnosis, and the clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. Results In this study, three-dimensional DSA and MRI fusion were performed in 20 patients, 8 patients underwent three-dimensional DSA and CT fusion. Among the 28 cases, the malformation diameter under 3 cm in 20 cases, the malformation diameter was 3-6 cm in 4 cases, 4 cases of cerebellum arteriovenous malformation. All patients were successfully treated and no serious postoperative complication was found. Conclusions Preoperative imaging fusion as an effective adjunct to provide reliable recommendations for the development of AVM patient treatment programs, it is beneficial for the patient to carry out targeted therapy, contributes to improving their prognosis. Key words: Intracranial arteriovenous malformations; Angiography; Tomography; Magnetic resonance imaging
