Abstract
Objective To investigate the protective effect of Prostavasin on Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury. Methods 24 left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) ligated rats were divided into 3 groups (sham operation group, control group, treatment group). Reperfused 60 min respectively after myocardial ischemia 30 min,5 min before reperfusion intravenous 0.9% saline 0.25 ml/kg or Prostavasin 0.5μxg/kg. Detected the differences between blood Iactate dehydrogenase (LDH), plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) ,interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-8,and the differences of bcl-2,bax protein expression between each group. Results Compared with other two groups, LDH, MDA, IL-6 and IL-8 increased significantly in the control group (P<0.05) ;LDH,MDA,IL-6 and IL-8 in treatment group more significantly increased than the blank group(P<0.05). Compared with the sham operation group protein expression of bcl-2 and bax were significantly increased in control group (P < 0.05); in treatment group, the expression of bcl-2 significantly increased compared with the other two groups, bax expression were markedly reduced (P < 0.05). Conclusion Prostavasin can protect the ischemic-reperfusion injury myocardium by reducing lipid peroxides and reducing peroxidatic reaction, inducing apoptosis. Key words: Myocardium; Prostavasin; Ischemia; Reperfusion injury
