Abstract
Objective To compare the corneal refraction changes of different clear incision with conventional incision phacoemulsification.Methods Design Prospective case series.Participants of 160 patients (160 eyes) performed phacoemulsification.Of 78 patients (78 eyes) were in group A (2.2mm clear incision phacoemulsification) and 82 patients (82 eyes) in group B (3.0mml corneal incision phacoemulsification).TMS-4 corneal topography was used to evaluate the corneal refraction change.Results There were statistically significant differences between these two groups at pre-operation and 1 week,1 and 3 months post-operation.Conclusions 3.0mm clear incision phacoemulsification has lower changes of the mean corneal curvature compared with 2.2mm incision phacoemulsification.
