Abstract
Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic diaphragmatic rupture.Methods The clinical data of 26 patients with traumatic diaphragmatic rupture were analyzed retrospectively.Results The diagnosis was made preoperatively in 22 cases(84.6%).Twenty-five patients (96.2%) were cured; 1 patient (3.8%) died of severe liver rupture uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock.Postoperative complications including 3 cases of pulmonary atelectasis,1 case of subphrenic abscess.The 4 patients were cured after treatment,and the complication rate was 15.4%.Conclusions Diagnosis can be made based on radiography and CT.Early diagnosis,timely operation are the key to improve the cure rate and reduce mortality.
