Abstract

The growth and metastasis of malignant tumors depend on angiogenesis. Antiangiogenesis of tumor is a new therapy in recent years, and is extensively and deeply researched. Endostatin, the C-term inalproteolytic fragment of collagen Ⅹ Ⅷ ,is a potent endogenous angiogenesis inhibitor, has significant effect on antiangiogenesis of tumor, and provides a new way for the treatment of malignant tumor. The article summarizes the research advancement of inhibiting tumor growth and metastasis regarding endostatin. Key words: Endostatin; Angiogenesis; Tumor growth and metastasize
