Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of treating the eyeball perforation of intraocular foreign bodies with vitreoretinal combined with foreign bodies extraction operation, and prevented the complications. Methods Twenty-one cases of eye perforation and intraocular foreign bodies cut off the pathological vitreous around foreign bodies with conventional vitrectomy.Twenty cases of foreign bodies taked out from the sclera puncture mouth with the tweezers,1 case of large foreign bodies taked out from the corneosclera incision getting by holding up from behind. The patients of retinal hole and/or retinal detachment treat the silicon oil or the perfluorocarbon gas(C3F8) filling and retina photocoagulation. All patients were followed up for 6 months. Results Twenty-one cases were successful extracted foreign body.Eyesight of 20 patients significantly improve than before operation and only one case had visual acuity light feeling after operation. Conclusions ①Vitreoretinal surgery due to undergo surgery in orthophoria, reduce the blindness of surgery, smally damage normal tissue and successfully extract foreign rate higher,so vitreoretinal surgery is the ideal way treating intraocular foreign bodies.②Vitreoretinal operation can effectively wipe off complications of refractive interstitial turbidity, retinopathy after trauma and vitreous hemorrhage. It can improve the success rate and postoperative emersion probability. Key words: Posterior segment; Intraocular foreign bodies; Vitreoretinal surgery
