Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of reflective teaching on the training of new nurses. Methods The study was a randomized clinical trial (RCT),and 127 new nurses were randomly divided into intervention group (n =63) and control group (n =64).The intervention group received reflective teaching, while control group received routine training. The score with the Chinese version of CTDI-CV scale before and after the training of new nurses were observed and compared. Results After the training, the CTDI-CV scores of new nurses in intervention group and control group respectively were (302.91 ± 31.267) and (289.22 ±23.443),and the difference was statistically significant (t =2.787,P =0.006).And significantly difference was found in the analysis ability, systematic capacity, the self-confidence of judge thinking, curiosity between intervention group and control group (t =1.994,3.058,2.360,2.467,respectively ; P < 0.05),while no significant difference was found in the search for truth, open thinking, cognitive maturity (P > 0.05).Conclusions Reflective teaching helps to improve the critical thinking ability of new nurses.
