PDCA management model used in surgical armarium maintenance

Objective By using PDCA management model, to solve and improve the surgical equipment in the qualified rate of maintenance and care and improve the surgical armarium maintenance service satisfaction. Methods We formulated the specific rules of PDCA management through carrying out PDCA management model, and improved according to the feedback of implementation. Results After 2 years of PDCA management of surgical armarium, the repair qualified rate from 51.67%-68.89% climbed to 70.00%-93.75% (P<0.05); the medical staff satisfaction increased from 63.33% to 90.00% (χ2=5.963, P<0.05). Conclusions PDCA management model can continually and recycling improve the level of surgical armarium maintenance, which leads to surgical armarium management more normalized and systematical.
