Effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the quality of life in patients with hepatocarcinoma interventional therapy

Abstract
Objective
To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the quality of life in patients with hepatocarcinoma interventional therapy.
Methods
A total of 100 patients with liver cancer and chemotherapy were randomly divided into two groups on average: control group and intervention group. The control group underwent with routine nursing and the intervention group received the assessment of uncomfortable, psychological intervention, rest guiding, diet guidance, health education, relax training, postoperative drug reaction and relevant complications and so on comprehensive nursing base on routine.We compared postoperative adverse reaction and nursing effects between two groups.
Results
Compared the postoperative adverse reaction in two groups, the experimental group were lower than the control group in nausea and vomiting, bleeding at punctured site, and the problem of urination and defection (χ2=11.947, 4.000, 6.618, respectively; P<0.05). The same trend represented on the tolerance of postoperative adverse reaction, mastery of intervention knowledge and the improvement of life quality in patients (χ2=13.301, 19.869, 4.762, respectively; P<0.05).
Conclusions
The comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly reduce the patient physical and mental pressure, postoperative adverse reaction and the pain caused by cancer and improve life quality, which is worthy to promote.
