Abstract

Objective To investigate the inffluence factors of efficacy of anastomosis for lacrimal canalicular laceration. Methods The prospective study of 41 eyes of 41 cases with lacrimal canalicular laceration was performed to analyze the damage type, operation timing, operation method, retention of stent tube and surgical efficacy. Results The total effective rate was 87.81%,90.63% of which was in fresh lacrimal canalicular laceration, and 77.78% in old lacrimal canalicular laceration with no statistically significant difference (F =4.5,P =0.658).The effective rates were 88.89% in patients treated with autogenous vein graft and 87.50% in patients treated with end to end anatomosis. The effective rate had no statistically significant difference between two different surgical methods. Conclusion Individualized surgical procedure can improve the operative effective rate of lacrimal canalicular laceration. The autogenous vein graft is a good choice for complicated lacrmal duct injury. Key words: Laceration, lacrimal canalicular;  Operation ;  Effect
