Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical symptoms, therapy and prognosis of cardiogenic cerebral embolism(CCE).Methods Clinical date of 72 patients with CCE were analyzed. Results 56 cases of CCE were over 60 years old men, which take up 77.8% ;non valvar atrial fibrillation (NVAF) 83.3% ;left medial cerebral arteria embolism 52.8% ;embolism hemorrhagic 19.4% ;death takes up 8.33%.Conclusion Atrial fibrillation is the main cause of the CCE,prognosis of CCE is not good, anticoagulant is an effective treatment for atrial fibrillation patients,it can avoid cerebral embolism. Key words: Intracranial embolism; Atrial fibrillation
