Abstract
Objective To study the clinical features and treatment of cardiogenic cerebral embolism caused by atrial fibrillation. Methods Retrospective analysis of previous cerebral embolism caused by atrial fibrillation treated 66 patients, the patient's age, sex, clinical manifestations, imaging data, treatment options, prognosis, and other related information were analyzed. Results 37 cases improved(including two cases of patients with thrombolytic),ineffective in 14 cases, including 11 cases of families to give up treatment,15 cases of death. Patients with cerebral embolism caused by atrial fibrillation were female and the elderly over the age of 70 in the majority. Cerebral embolism caused by atrial fibrillation were more involved carotid artery system, especially the middle cerebral artery, left and right hemisphere involvement was roughly equal, and often large, complicated infarction within the bleeding points,or flake. Cerebral embolism in patients with atrial fibrillation taking intravenous thrombolysis,anticoagulation,anti-platelet aggregation, vasodilator, lowering the intracranial pressure, brain cell protective agent, and improve blood circulation regimen. Conclusion Patients with cerebral embolism caused by atrial fibrillation,a serious nervous system dysfunction, the prognosis was poor,it should be actively prevented. Especially for the elderly( age 70 years) and female patients with atrial fibrillation stroke prevention strengthened,so that patients were more likely to benefit. INR active anticoagulation control could reduce the scope of anticoagulant therapy in appropriate patients cerebral embolism,Ultra early thrombolytic therapy may make patients benefit more.
