Abstract
Objective To investigate the influences of predictive nursing on negative emotions and quality of life in patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods From March 2013 to March 2014, 120 patients were randomly divided into two groups, 60 cases in the control group with routine nursing care, and the other 60 patients in the observation group added predictive nursing. Nursing satisfaction, emotion and quality of life were evaluated by satisfaction questionnaire, symptom checklist and social function rating scale respectively. Results Compared with control group, the symptom rating scale scores of each items were lower in observation group (P<0.05). The each item scores of social function rating scale were lower in observation group than that of control group (P<0.05). Nursing satisfaction rate was 90.0% and 100.0% in control group and observation group. Nursing satisfaction rate was significantly higher in observation group than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusions Predictive nursing care can effectively improve nursing satisfaction for coronary heart disease patients with negative emotions and quality of life after PCI therapy. Key words: Predictive nursing; Coronary heart disease (CHD); Interventional therapy; Negative emotions; Quality of life
