Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of Urotensin- Ⅱ in blood plasma of lung cancer patients, and the relationship between U-Ⅱ and stages of lung cancer and pathology type. Methods We determined the con-tent of U- Ⅱ in plasma of lung cancer patients, non-lung cancer patients and healthy adults by radioimmunoassay. Re-sults The content of U-Ⅱ in plasma of healthy control group was(2.834±1.157) pmol/L,lung cancer group was (3.537±1.198) pmol/L, there was significant difference between them (P 0.0.5) ; Ⅰ~Ⅲ stage of lung cancer group compared with Ⅳ stage group, the content of U-Ⅱ in plasma had significant diefference(P<0.05). Conclusion The expression of U-Ⅱ in plasma of lung cancer increased, the expression level of U-Ⅱ was correlated with the stage of lung cancer and distant metasta-sis, no correlation was found between U-Ⅱ and the pathology type of lung cancer. Therefore, the present study had great value in revealing pathogenesis of lung cancer. Key words: Lung neoplasms; Urotensin Ⅱ
