Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of erigeron breviscapus injection on middle aged patients with acute cerebral thrombosis. Methods 100 middle-aged patients with acute cerebral thrombosis were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group was treated with intravenous drip of erigeron breviscapus (30 ml/d), while the control group was treated with intravenous drip of compound Danshen injection (30 ml/d), all patients were treated for 4 weeks. The neurological function, motor function, and ability of daily living were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The recovery of neurological function, motor function, and daily living ability in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of erigeron breviscapus on acute cerebral thrombosis was better than that of compound Danshen. Key words: Erigeron breviscapus; Middle age; Acute cerebral thrombosis; Treatment effect
