Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical effect of small bone window craniotomy evacuation of hematoma and traditional craniotomy evacuation of hematoma in the treatment of cerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Methods 70 cases of ICH in our hospital from June 2009 to June 2015 were divided into group A and B, 35 cases in each group. Patients in group A and B were given small bone window craniotomy evacuation of hematoma and traditional craniotomy evacuation of hematoma respectively. The treatment effect of two groups were compared. Results Operative time, blood loss, hospital stay, and the incidence of complications in group A were significantly less than those in group B (P<0.05). The improvement of CSS score and BI index at 6 months after operation in group A were significantly better than those in group B (P<0.05). The markedly effective rate of group A was significantly higher than that of group B (88.57% vs. 65.71%, P<0.05). Conclusion Small bone window craniotomy evacuation of hematoma is effective in treating ICH, can be used as the main operative treatment method for ICH.
