Value of serum tumor markers combined with motion detection in early diagnosis and monitor treatment of breast cancer

Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of combined dynamic assay of serum tumor marker CA15-3,CYFRA21-1,OPN (osteopontin) and CA125 on early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.Methods Serum levels of CA15-3,CYFRA21-1 and CA125 in 126 breast cancer cases were detected by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay,level of OPN was detected by enzyme linked immunoassay.Also serum level of the indexes were detected in 50 healthy people,then the data were analyzed and the difference and relationship in clinic stage,recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer were found.Results The serum levels of CA15-3,CYFRA21-1,OPN or CA125 in patients with breast cancer were significantly higher than those in normal contrast(P < 0.01).Serum levels of indexes in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ patients were significantly higher than those in stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ patients (P < 0.05).Static significance was detected in levels of cancer recurrence people and non-recurrence people (P < 0.05).Positive detection rate of combined assay of the 4 indexes was 95.2%.And there was statistical significance between positive detection rates of combines assay group and single group.Conclmions Serum levels of CA15-3,CYFRA21-1,OPN and CA125 were closely related with clinic stage,recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer.Combined dynamic assay of the 4 indexes are better value for early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer,and will contribute to the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
