Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical diagnosis value of CT combined with MRI for arteriovenous malformation (AVM) of brain. Methods 60 patients with AVM treated at our hospital from March to December, 2017 were selected, and were examined by CT and MRI. The diagnostic results of CT combined with MRI were compared with those of arteriocerebral angiography. Results The diagnosing accuracy rate of CT combined with MRI for AVM was 96.67%, and was close to the accuracy rate of arteriocerebral angiography, with no statistical difference (P>0.05). Conclusion CT combined with MRI has high accuracy and clear imaging in the diagnosis of AVM, so it has good clinical diagnostic value. Key words: Arteriovenous malformation of brain; CT; MRI
