Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of different methods on senile chronic lacrimal sac, and investigate the reasonable treatment of elderly patients with chronic lacrimal sac. Methods From June 2012 to June 2015, 68 cases (68 eyes) with chronic lacrimal sac without lacrimal duct obstruction were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 34 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated by laser lacrimal passage combined with silicone tube implantation, and the control groupwas treated by laser lacryocystoplasty. Results All patients were followed up for 12 months, the effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group after 6 months and 12 months after operation, the differences between the two groups were significant (P 0.05). Conclusions Laser conaloplasty combined with silicon tube implantation operation is simple, and has small damage, high success rate, so it is ideal for treating elderly patients with chronic dacryoystitis operation, and be worthy of promotion. Key words: Chronic dacryocystitis; Laser lacryocystoplasty; Silicone tube implantation; Silica gel tube; Aged
