Clinical observation and care of phlebitis induced by vinorelbine

Objectlve To observate the incidence of phlebitis induced by vinorelbine,and study the care of phlebitis.Methods 80 patients treated with vinorelbine were randomly divided into experiment and control groups,which were treated with PICC and periphend venous infusion respectively.40 cases who had phlebitis were divided into two groups,which were treated with conventional closed plus the frozen Kurashiki method and conventional methods plus hydrocortisone injection wet packing respectively.Results The incidence of phlebitis in experiment group was 10%,and that in control group was 90%.Hydrocortisone injection wet pacing could recover more fastly.Conclusion PICC is one of the effective methods in preventiong from phlebitis.Hydrocottisone injection wet packing can effectively alleviate the symptoms of phlebitis.
