Abstract

Objective To study the the effect of alprostadil on the S100B and MMP - 9 in serum of patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods Sixty patients were randomly divided into two groups, the control group( n =30) and the treatment group( n =30).The control group was given routine treatment, the treatment group was given alprostadil beside routine treatment.Alprostadil for 14 days. The S100B and MMP -9 in serum were tested before and after treatment. Results The S100B and MMP9 in control group was (0.71 ± 0.27 ) μg/L and ( 281 ± 95 ) μg/L.The S 100B and M MP - 9 in treatment group was (0.46 ±0.22) μg/L and (206 ±74) μg/L.After treatment, the level of s100B and MMP9 expression decreased than that before treatment, and the effect in treatment group was better than that in control group. Conclusions Alprostadil could decrease the S100B and MMP -9 in acute cerebral infarction, which was worth promotion. Key words: Cerebral infarction; Alprostadil; S100B; MMP - 9
