Abstract
Objective To clinical study the curative effect of nasal continuous positive airway pressure(NCPAP) in treatment of neonatal respiratory failure. Methods 60 neonates who suffered from respiratory failure were cured by NCPAP treatment on the basis of comprehensive treatment, the dynamic changes of clinical manifestation, PaO2 and SaO2 were observed before and after the treatment. Results After the treatment, clinical manifestation were markedly improved, SaO2 increased (P< 0.01) and PaO2 decreased (P < 0.05) obviously in 49 cases. Conclusions NCPAP treatment can improve the oxygenation with significant effect, has a good effect on neonatal respiratory failure. Key words: Neonatal; respiratory; failure ( N-CPAP )
