Abstract
Objective To discuss the application value of ultrasound evaluation with modified seldinger technology in patients difficult for PICC. Methods In 68 patients difficult for PICC, advance arm vascular ultrasound evaluation, accorded to the evaluation results, chose suitable for application of blood vessels and used Seldinger technology for PICC, and regular catheter nursing was administrated after operation. Results All patients were one-off puncture success, implant catheter rate was 100% and no complications were found. Conclusion Ultrasonography evaluation with modified seldinger technology is a safe, practical tube method, especially suitable for PICC with difficult.
