Abstract
Kriippel-like factors (KLFs) are members of the zinc finger family of transcription factors that contain three domains of Kruppel-like zinc fingers.Kruppel-like factor 4 (KLF4),a member of this family,is a context-dependent oncogene and tumour-suppressor gene, plays a critical role in regulating diverse array of biological processes.Furthermore, the expression of KLF4 is related to the prognosis and recurrence of cancers. This review will focus on the relation between KLF4 and tumorigenesis. Key words: Kruppel-like factor 4; Tumorigenesis
