The function and mechanisms of Kruppel-like factor 11 gene in tumor

Kruppel-like transcription factor 11(KLF11),one of the members of Kruppel-like transcription factor family,regulates many processes of life,such as cell proliferation,cell cycle and apoptosis.Previous studies showed that the expression of KLF11 downregulated in many cancers,and its inhibition effects on cancer cells were reduced.Due to the intimate relationship between KLF11 and tumor genesis,it will be helpful to better understanding of mechanisms of tumor genesis from further study.
