Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of intravitreal injection of Conbercept combined with trabeculectomy and photocoagulation for the treatment of neovascular glaucoma. Methods The data of 14 eyes of 14 cases with neovascular glaucoma were selected and they underwent intravitreal injection of Conbercept. All cases received complex trabeculectomy after the new vessels of anterior chamber angle and iris regressed. Panretinal photocoagulation(PRP)was performed before surgery for patients with transparent cornea. The patients with corneal edema caused by high IOP received PRP after the cornea transparent. The follow-up time was 6 months. The IOP, visual acuity and complications were observed. Results The IOP in pre-operation, 1 week, 1, 3 and 6 months after operation were (40.4±5.8), (15.8±2.8), (13.6±1.5), (13.4±1.2) and (14.2±2.1)mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa). The IOP at every time after surgery were decreased (P<0.01). The visual acuity after operation was significantly improved(P<0.05). After 6 months, the visual acuity increased in 8 eyes(57.14%), no changed in 5 eyes(35.72%), and decreased in 1 eye(7.14%). Postoperative complications included hyphema in 2 eyes(14.29%), vitreous hemorrhage in 1 eye (7.14%), and shallow anterior chamber in 1 eye (7.14%). Conclusion Complex trabeculectomy and PRP combined with intravitreal injection of Conbercept in the treatment of neovascular glaucoma can control the IOP and preserve the visual function.
