Breast galactography on diagnosis of disease with nipple discharge in 49 cases

Objective To analyse the imaging feature of galactography in the diagnosis of breast disease with nipple discharge,and defined the necessary of the examination.Methods Analyzed galactography findings of 49 patients with nipple discharge proved by clinic and pathology.Results Categorized according to representation:breast ductal normal were 5 cases(10.2%);ductal ectasia were 7 cases(14.3%);ductal ectasia with mastitis were 8 cases(16.3%);ductal ectasia with hyperplasia were 16 cases(32.7%),intraductral papilloma were 8 cases(16.3%);ductral carcinoma were 5 cases(10.2%).Conclusions Breast galactography is helpful for advancing the diagnosis rate of the breast disease with nipple discharge.It's valuable for diagnosis or differential diagnosis of the breast disease,and the early diagnosis in the introductal papillary carcinoma of breast.
