Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of ultrasound on diagnosis of acute pan-creatitis. Methods The data of 104 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted in our hospital from January 2012 to June 2013 were studied. All patients received abdominal ultrasound and CT scan,and the clinical values on diagnosing acute pancreatitis were compared. Results The diagnostic accuracy rate of ultrasound for light pancreatitis was lower than that of CT( 72. 8% vs 84. 8%,χ2 =5. 968 ,P ﹤0. 05 ),while the diagnostic accuracy rates for peripancreatic or abdominal cavity effusion were obviously higher than that of CT(45. 8% vs 28. 6%,χ2 =6. 748,P﹤0. 05). The diagnostic accuracy rates of ultra-sound for severe pancreatitis,pancreas and pancreatic parenchyma echo change were lower than that of CT,but there was no statistical differences( Pall﹥0. 05). Conclusions The diagnostic accuracy rate of ultrasound for acute pancreatitis is high,especially for peripancreatic oozy and peritoneal effasion,and it is worth of popularization and application.
