Abstract
Objective To observe the predictive effect of the non-stress test (NST) combined with ultrasonic measurement for intrauterine fetal anoxia to optimize its diagnosis. Methods Two hundred and ten pregnant women in the late pregnancy who underwent color Doppler ultrasound examination and had a delivery at hospital were selected. Of all women included, 65 had a prelabor preliminary diagnosis and postpartum confirmation of intrauterine anoxic fetus (observation group), and the remaining 145 had a normal pregnancy (control group). All subjects underwent NST and ultrasonic measurement. Results The rate fetal heart monitoring abnormality was significantly higher in the observation group (58/65, 87.93%) than in the control group (20/145, 13.79%) (χ2=214.925, P<0.001). Compared with the control group, systolic/diastolic ratio (S/D), resistance index (RI), and pulsatility index (PI) of the middle cerebral artery (MCA) all decreased significantly, and S/D, RI, and PI of the umbilical artery (UA) and MCA/UA all increased significantly (t=8.91, 10.23, 8.46, 5.20, 4.66, 16.57, 10.99, 14.71, and 13.87, respectively, P<0.001 for all). When combining different indexes, both the sensitivity and Youden index increased. Conclusion NST combined with ultrasonic measurement can better predict intrauterine fetal anoxia and has better application value.
