Abstract
Objective To explore the application effects of diversified teaching for nursing students in clinical practice, and provide reference for clinical nursing teaching. Methods By convenience sampling, 120 nursing students in the department of Infant Cardiac Surgery in a Class Ⅲ Grade A hospital in Zhengzhou from March 2017 to April 2018 were selected and divided into the experimental group and control group with 60 students in each group. The experimental group was given the diversified teaching approach centered by students while the control group was adopted the conventional teaching method with the teachers as the center. Upon leaving the department, the two groups were compared in terms of their results in specialized nursing theoretical examination and practical examination as well as the teaching satisfaction. Results The experimental group was higher than the control group in the specialized nursing theoretical examination and practical examination results with statistical difference (P<0.05) ; the teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group with statistical difference (P<0.05) . Conclusions Diversified teaching, compared with the conventional teacher-centered model, can more effectively improve the nursing students' initiative and activity and the quality of clinical practice teaching. Key words: Nursing education; Diversified teaching; Cardiac Surgery; Clinical practice
