Salbutamol and budesonide for children with acute attack of asthma

Abstract
Objective
To study the effect and adverse reactions of salbutamol and budesonide for children with acute attack of asthma.
Methods
72 children with acute attack of asthma treated at our hospital from May, 2015 to May, 2016 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group. Both groups were given basic treatment; in addition, the control group were treated with salbutamol and the observation group with salbutamol and budesonide. The curative effect and adverse reactions in both groups were observed and compared.
Results
The total effective rate was 69.4% in the control group and was 97.3% in the observation group, with a statistical difference (P 0.05).
Conclusion
The combination of salbutamol and budesonide for children with acute attack of asthma is more effective than salbutamol and can decrease the incidence of adverse reactions, so it is worth being clinically generalized.
